An
incredible new offering to our product line for 2022!

As is the case with many of our products,
there is a bit of a backstory on our new,  proprietary
gear boxes compatible with NEMA 34 frame size motors. We were approached
last year by an OEM customer who was at wit's end looking for high-quality
gear heads at a reasonable price that were AVAILABLE. We worked with
the manufacturer of our highly regarded gear rack to develop 5:1 and
10:1 ratio models which we're now making available to everyone. These
units have gone through rigorous testing and use, and the reports have
been absolutely glowing. We are stocking large quantities of these gear
boxes in our warehouse available for immediate shipment. They're the
perfect companion to our rack and pinion and will mate with those products.
Here are the highlights:
- 5:1 and 10:1 ratio models available from stock.
- Compatible with virtually ALL NEMA 34 frame motors
with either 14mm or 12.7mm (1/2") shafts. These gear boxes are
supplied with a precision reducer collet that can be inserted into the
native 14mm bore to make the bore 1/2".
- Superior fit and finish. These are beautiful and look
and perform like they should cost much more than they do.
- Precise. Backlash ≤ 8 arcmin.
- Rated output torque 60 Nm.
- Maximum output torque 120 Nm.
- Rated input speed 5,000 rpm.
- Maximum input speed 10.000 rpm.
- Noise < 58 Db.
- Input torque ≤ 12.63 Nm.
- Outboard shaft measures 12.7mm (1/2") diameter
with keyway and key. This shaft works with our range of helical and
straight-cut pinion gears that have 12.7mm (1/2") bore.
